Take tide-pooling to a whole new level of understanding .This session will stimulate and nurture student interest in marine biology. Daily experiences and discussions associated with our field studies will carry over into their classroom enthusiasm and understanding of marine wildlife. Each day we will travel around to the different coastline destinations available in and around the area where we can study the living world of the rocky intertidal zone to search for, collect, and analyze the many different organisms in their natural habitat. Time will be available every day to swim, stroll along the beaches searching for shells, driftwood, sea glass, and marine life such as sand dollars that wash up on our local beaches.
